In mid April 2010 Abadi Villas
will reopen after a 2 ½ month make-over. The New
Abadi Villas will be significantly upgraded with a fresh
contemporary décor, much improved bedrooms, new kitchen
/ bar facilities, a new home theatre / entertainment area,
additional living space in Villa 2, and a modernistic glass
and stone entry. Abadi Villas first opened for guests in
January 2005 to offer a high level of personal service in
a contemporary Balinese vacation villa.
The Abadi team recognized that
now, 5 years later, it is time to reinvest and upgrade facilities
to keep true to this goal. Over twelve months of design
and planning have gone it the project. Much attention has
been directed to improving the guest in-villa experience
with a number of improvements originating directly from
guest suggestions. We are confident that the New Abadi Villas
will offer Abadi Villas’ return and first time guests
the best value vacation experience available in Seminyak.
New fresh and contemporary décor in all
rooms of the villa
All areas of Abadi Villas will be finished in a new décor
reflecting the latest in international trends subtly influenced
by the vibrant tropical Balinese culture. Villa furnishings
and original Balanese artworks are to be upgraded. The resulting
ambiance mixed with enhanced levels of individual service
will offer a calming luxurious and intimate experience for
guests.
All new kitchens with plush bars for sophisticated
entertaining
Each villa will have a new kitchen with marble, glass and
timber finishes. All the expected features; large fridge,
stove, fresh water cooler; are all retained. What is very
new and exciting is the addition of a plush bar with ambient
feature lighting to allow smart drink and food service;
a great feature for entertaining and to enhance the Abadi
Villa experience. In Villa 2, the new kitchen has been relocated
to allow for a significant increase in the living and diving
room areas.
Creating warm luxurious and more spacious bedrooms
A major make-over of all bedrooms to include warm colours
and polished timber floors will create an ambience of calm
and luxury. Indirect dimmable lights with strategically
placed LED down lights and black-out curtains allow guests
to regulate the ambience to match the mood.
The new furniture will be contemporary with simple sophisticated
lines. All rooms will have king beds, a writing desks and
soft comfortable lounge chairs. A new 32” flat screen
cable TV with DVD player will be conveniently placed for
watching whilst resting on the large bed. A wide channel
choice is provided with multiple international news, language,
sport and movie channels. Allowing for more space in the
bedrooms, the new walk-in or through dressing rooms will
have full length mirrors and extensive hanging and shelf
space for clothes. The already large garden villa will maintain
it existing in-room wardrobe. As before, all bedrooms are
air-conditioned.
Introducing a dedicated home theater / entertainment
space.
On the mezzanine level the renovation will create a new
home theatre / entertainment space. A deep cushioned curved
sofa for 6 adults is being custom made to comfortably watch
the new large flat screen TV with its associated rich Yamaha
surround sound theater system. A library of DVDs stands
adjacent. Children (and adults) can use the space for indoor
games – board and computer - OR - just use the space
to relax and read. A custom built writing/computer desk
is also found on the mezzanine floor. It will be an ideal
place to write a letter home, surf the web using Abadi Villas
complementary Wi-Fi system or to quietly complete that unavoidable
extra work that follows everyone on holidays.
A new villa entry of glass and stone
Guests on arrival at Abadi Villas will be met by a contemporary
glass roofed entrance clad in white paleman stone. Apart
for giving the villa a new sophisticated entrance, the shelter
affords a very practical service for guests, acting as a
sheltered waiting area away from Bali’s tropical climate.
A new level of personal service
During the renovation Abadi Villa’s already experienced
staff will not be idol. A new in-villa dining menu will
be developed and implemented, pulling together what has
been most popular in the past with exciting new gastronomic
choices. The central kitchen will be redecorated and staff
trained to deliver an even more outstanding range of meals
from simple snacks to cocktail selections to full 5 course
seated dinners. Staff will also undergo additional guest
service training at Abadi Villa’s partner villas to
enhance the standard of the personal service and assistance
for guest.
